In the framework of the Espai Barça project, the activity of FC Barcelona – Assistència Sanitària Medical Centre is moving temporarily, from 6th May, to a new location at c/ Còrsega, no. 345 (1st floor), Barcelona (Diagnosis Médica – Creu Blanca). The transformation that FC Barcelona is carrying out at the Camp Nou involves certain construction work that requires all possible space within the stadium complex and could affect the medical service activity, making it necessary to move the medical centre.

With the same expert team and extensive opening hours (Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 20:00), the FC Barcelona – Assistència Sanitària Medical Centre will continue to provide exclusive services for minor trauma emergencies and pre-operatory testing before surgery. Furthermore, the new location provides up-to-date premises and a more central site in the city, as it has been chosen taking into account the proximity of most of the insured population and connectivity using public and private transport.

The facilities of the FC Barcelona – Assistència Sanitària Medical Centre comprise a consideration of urgent trauma care. The team, made up of specialists from the list of authorized physicians, attended 7846 urgent trauma cases in 2018. The average resolution time for cases is just 23 minutes.

The FC Barcelona – Assistència Sanitària Medical Centre also provides pre-operatory services, with a total of 2088 visits in 2018. In 52 minutes on average, all the necessary tests (radiology, lab tests, ECG….) are carried out as well as the doctor’s visit. The protocol established for pre-op visits indicates which services and examinations are carried out in each case and is based on the model devised by the Catalan Association of Anaesthesiology, Reanimation and Pain Clinic.
